He was a political scientist, founder of the Albert Einstein Institute, and scholar of nonviolent political action. He sees nonviolent political action and peaceful resistance as a means of applying power in conflicts with dictatorial governments. Lili Martinez (Class of 2024) will share her experience in planning a nonviolent protest on the Lewis campus against the violence and deaths of the Parkland shooting in 2018.</p>
